Are you a 'people person' with a ready smile and great presentation? Then why not come and work in our brand new café! You'll be part of an enthusiastic, hard working team and get to work in award-winning surrounds, with a menu set by world famous chef, Ferran Adria.
Lavazza is renowned for its great coffee. So you'll need to appreciate the brand's proud history. You will also need to demonstrate:

This role would suit someone with previous customer service, and, food and beverage experience. Fluency in French, German, Chinese, Korean or Spanish would be helpful too. Must be 21+.

Visitor Concierges

Are you one of those rare people who can make every visitor feel special? Do you love to help people and create up-sell opportunities?
We're looking for Visitor Concierges who can be many things: a director of first impressions, a problem solver, a diplomat, and an ambassador to name but a few.
Working at one of Chicago's most famous landmarks, you will:
- Meet and greet visitors
- Respond to visitor needs throughout all rostered aspects of John Hancock Observatory including – Guided Touring, Ticketing, Retail Sales, Hosting and Cafe Operations
- Adapt tours and hosting activities to meet the varied needs of a diverse range of visitors
- Proactively promote Chicago as a visitor destination
- Increase our brand awareness within John Hancock Center and around Chicago.
Success in this role requires:
- A high level of competency in the English language
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Sound conflict resolution skills
- Work well under pressure
- Customer service experience
- Retail or Sales experience
Ideally, you will possess a guiding or similar qualification, as well as previous experience in the tourism industry. Proficiency in another language other than English would be an advantage.
