Hours of operation
We're open daily from 9:00am to 11:00pm (last admission at 10:30pm). So come in early or stay late and enjoy at the world's highest Lavazza Espression café!
To avoid the crowds, come before 11:00am or after 6:00pm. You can find specific times for a sunset visit at www.sunrisesunset.com (but any time at night is good for those starry skylines).
A note about your tickets
For the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests, tripods are not allowed in the Observatory. All tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Right of entry is strictly at the sole discretion of John Hancock Observatory. Capacity may be restricted and subject to availability. John Hancock Observatory will not issue refunds for low visibility and/or circumstances outside of our control.
